🌐 Step 1 — Allocation of Digital Assets to a Geolocation

Marine Citizen is built on one idea: every hectare of Earth is an addressable geolocation, and you can allocate digital assets to it. Your identity, your money, and your data all live at real GPS coordinates.

The Core Idea

Your First Allocation Is Your Identity

When you join, your digital identity is allocated to a geolocation — your own Ocean Spot. From there you can allocate more digital assets to it, or to any other geolocation on the map.

Get Started — Reserve Your Geolocation

1. Open the site
   Go to marinecitizen.com. You will see the welcome screen.
2. Click "Register"
   Enter your name, email, and create a password.
3. Reserve your Ocean
   Your digital identity is allocated to a geolocation — a real 1-hectare ocean cell at true GPS coordinates, linked to you.
4. Receive Marine Dollars payout
   Once your reservation is confirmed, your Marine Dollars payout lands in your wallet — ready to allocate to geolocations or spend on Blobs and upgrades.
5. Allocate your first asset
   Attach Marine Dollars, ESG or training data to any geolocation, from the World Map or your Ocean Spot.

This is the live 3D view of your geolocation — the real 100m × 100m ocean cell your identity is allocated to. Clean it to earn, and allocate digital assets to it.

• Your Blobs — clean the water here to earn ESG
• Marine life — fish, coral and creatures that appear as your spot improves
• Your assets — digital things you've added to this spot
• Manage — add or buy assets for this spot from the side panel

⛏️ Step 3 — Mining & Blob Controls

Mining is how your Blobs turn clean-ups into ESG — each piece of debris cleaned on your spot earns 1 ESG. You earn by doing, not by sitting idle. You control everything from the Blob sidebar.

How Mining Works

1. Open your spot
   Go to your spot — mining starts automatically when a Blob is deployed.
2. Open the Blob Controls
   Click the 🐙 button on the left side of the screen to open the sidebar.
3. View your fleet stats
   See active Blob count, debris collected, and ESG Credits earned this session.
4. Pause or resume mining
   Use the ⏸ button to pause mining any time. Resume to start collecting again.
5. Buy more Blobs
   Open the Blob Shop to purchase additional Blobs (1 M$ each, up to 10 total).

🗺️ Step 4 — The World Map

Every place on the ocean is a geolocation you can open. Click any geolocation to see what's allocated to it, then allocate your own assets or buy what's listed.

What You Can Do

1. Open any geolocation
   Click any place to see its details and what's been allocated to it.
2. Allocate an asset
   Anchor a digital asset (Marine Dollars, training data and more) to that geolocation.
3. Buy what's listed
   Buy an asset already allocated there; it moves to your geolocation. Sign in to buy.
4. Claim a geolocation (optional)
   Make a geolocation officially yours. Anything you allocated stays yours; anything others allocated stays theirs.

🫧 Step 5 — Your Blobs & Training Data

Your Blobs clean, collect and battle for you across your ocean spots. Feed them training data and they get smarter — and level up.

How Your Blobs Work

1. They clean your spot
   Your Blobs collect floating debris on your spot to earn ESG.
2. Each debris = 1 ESG Credit
   Every piece of debris a Blob cleans earns you 1 ESG Credit.
3. They gain XP and level up
   The more they clean, the faster they level. Higher levels unlock new visuals.
4. You can own up to 10 Blobs
   Buy additional Blobs for 1 Marine Dollar each to clean faster.

🪪 Step 6 — Your Passport (Ocean ID)

Your Ocean ID is your passport in Marine Citizen. Only a secure code stands in for you online — your photo and personal details never leave your device. Verifying unlocks withdrawals, claiming spots and voting.

What Your Ocean ID Includes

• Citizen ID — your unique, permanent identifier
• Secure identity code — a private stand-in for you; your real details stay on your device, and you can reset it
• QR Code — a scannable, signed passport code (downloadable as PNG)
• Verification badge — shows your current verification level

🏦 Step 7 — Your Wallet & Assets

Your wallet holds your money — Marine Dollars (M$) and ESG. Allocate some to a geolocation, and it stays anchored to that place.

• In your wallet — money you can spend or withdraw (after verifying).
• Allocated to a geolocation — money or assets you've anchored to a place; tap any to jump to that geolocation.
• If someone else allocated something to your geolocation, you can see it but not spend it — it stays theirs.

Missions are tasks you complete to earn ESG Credits and Marine Dollars. AI-training missions also give you training data you can feed to your Blobs.

You get one personal ocean spot. An organisation account — like a business account — lets you hold and add assets to more spots.

How to Create an Organisation

1. Find a "For Sale" cell
   Open the World Map and look for available cells.
2. Rent the cell
   Pay a security deposit (1 month's rent in M$) and lock it in.
3. Organisation account created
   You get a business account, with its own name, that can hold and add assets to spots.
4. Manage via Business View
   Switch between Citizen View (personal) and Business View (organisation) in the header.

• Organisation account — a name and reference for holding titles and deposits
• More spots — rent as many ocean spots as you can afford
• Organisation wallet — separate finances for your business
• Deploy Blobs — send Blobs to clean and earn ESG on organisation cells
• Free website — business website with contact forms

Marine Citizen has a dual-currency economy. Your ocean spot is your entry point to earning, trading, and growing your balance.

Growth Path

The core loop: clean to earn ESG → convert to M$ → upgrade your spot → clean more and earn more. Higher levels hold more to clean and unlock richer ocean visuals.
