📖 Marine Citizen — Step-by-Step Guide

👋 Step 1 — Welcome & Registration

This is how you become a Marine Citizen. The process takes a few minutes.

How to Register

1. Open the site
   Go to marinecitizen.com. You will see the welcome screen.
2. Click "Register"
   Enter your name, email, and create a password.
3. Reserve your Coordinates
   Pick and reserve a unique 1-hectare ocean plot at real GPS coordinates as your own.
4. Receive Marine Dollars payout
   Once your reservation is confirmed, your Marine Dollars payout lands in your wallet — ready to spend on Blobs, upgrades, and gear.

🌊 Step 2 — Ocean View (Your Property)

This is the 3D view of your Ocean Property. It shows your hectare of ocean with real-time visuals.

What You See

• Your ocean plot — a 100m × 100m area of ocean rendered in 3D
• Marine life — fish, coral, and other creatures that appear as you level up
• Your Blob — your mining creature moving on the water, collecting debris
• Debris particles — items your Blob collects to earn ESG Credits
• Blob Controls sidebar — manage your Blob fleet from the left panel

⛏️ Step 3 — Mining & Blob Controls

Mining is how you earn ESG Credits. Your Blob swims across your property collecting debris — each piece equals 1 ESG Credit. You control everything from the Blob sidebar.

How Mining Works

1. Open your Ocean View
   Navigate to your property — mining starts automatically when a Blob is deployed.
2. Open the Blob Controls
   Click the 🐙 button on the left side of the screen to open the sidebar.
3. View your fleet stats
   See active Blob count, debris collected, and ESG Credits earned this session.
4. Pause or resume mining
   Use the ⏸ button to pause mining any time. Resume to start collecting again.
5. Buy more Blobs
   Open the Blob Shop to purchase additional Blobs (1 M$ each, up to 10 total).

🗺️ Step 4 — World Map

The World Map shows all ocean properties globally. Find your property, explore neighbours, and discover parcels for sale.

What You Can Do

1. Find your property
   Click "My Properties" to fly to your owned hectare.
2. Explore the ocean
   Pan and zoom to browse millions of ocean parcels worldwide.
3. View property details
   Click any parcel to see its owner, level, zone, and status.
4. Find parcels for sale
   Look for "For Sale" parcels if you want to rent them for a company.

🫧 Step 5 — Your Blob

Your Blob is a unique creature that mines ESG Credits by collecting debris on your property. It levels up as it works, changing appearance at each stage.

How Your Blob Works

1. It mines automatically
   Your Blob swims around your property collecting floating debris.
2. Each debris = 1 ESG Credit
   Every piece of debris your Blob collects earns you 1 ESG Credit.
3. It gains XP and levels up
   The more it mines, the faster it levels. Higher levels unlock new visuals.
4. You can own up to 10 Blobs
   Buy additional Blobs for 1 Marine Dollar each to mine faster.

🪪 Step 6 — Your Passport (Ocean ID)

Your Ocean ID is your digital passport in Marine Citizen. It proves your identity and links to your property.

What Your Ocean ID Includes

• Citizen ID — your unique, permanent identifier
• Verified photo — taken via your device camera
• QR Code — a scannable, signed passport code (downloadable as PNG)
• Verification badge — shows your current verification level

• ✅ Your display name, photo, and badge are visible — you can toggle these on or off
• 🔒 Your email, wallet balances, and documents are always private

🏦 Step 7 — Your Wallet

Your wallet holds two currencies: Marine Dollars (M$) and ESG Credits. You can deposit, withdraw, and view all transactions.

• Convert ESG to M$ — 50,000 ESG Credits = 1 Marine Dollar

🎯 Step 8 — Missions

Missions are tasks you complete to earn ESG Credits and Marine Dollars. They range from in-app activities to real-world actions.

🏢 Step 9 — Company Creation

You own one personal property. To expand, you can create a company by renting additional parcels from the map.

How to Create a Company

1. Find a "For Sale" parcel
   Open the World Map and look for available parcels.
2. Rent the parcel
   Pay a security deposit (1 month's rent in M$) and lock it in.
3. Company auto-registers
   The system creates your company with a name and registration number.
4. Manage via Business View
   Switch between Citizen View (personal) and Business View (company) in the header.

• Legal entity — auto-registered company name and number
• Company properties — rent as many parcels as you can afford
• Company wallet — separate finances for your business
• Deploy Blobs — send Blobs to mine ESG on company properties
• Free website — business website with contact forms

💰 Step 10 — The Economy

Marine Citizen has a dual-currency economy. Your property is your entry point to earning, trading, and growing your balance.

How You Earn

Conversion & Withdrawals

• ESG → M$ — Convert at 50,000 ESG = 1 Marine Dollar
• Deposit — Add funds at 5 USD = 1 M$
• Withdraw — Transfer M$ to your bank account

Growth Path

The core loop: earn ESG → convert to M$ → upgrade your property → earn more ESG. Higher property levels produce more passive income and unlock richer ocean visuals.
